Photo Motif is a photograph restoration studio in Clermont-Ferrand, France. It is the trading name of Ayman KACEMI, who is the person you are dealing with when you place an order.
What happens to a photograph here
Send one photograph and it comes back restored within 24 hours. Tears, water stains, fading, creases, mould spots and soft focus are the usual work. Every photo is worked on by hand, one at a time.
You see it before anything is final
The restoration arrives on a page where it sits beside your original, and you decide. Three rounds of changes are included, and if the result still is not what you hoped for at the end of them, we refund you in full. Nothing is printed until you have approved it.
Where the prints come from
Prints are made to order by Gelato, at the plant nearest you. Allow 6 to 15 business days from your approval: the print is made first, then shipped, and shipping is included.
Your photograph stays yours
The original you send and the restored photograph are kept for one year after you approve, so you can download again whenever you need to, and then they are deleted. They are never published and never sold.
